If you freeze a soda, such as mountain dew, and later thaw it out, will it be the exact same as before, or does the act of freezing it permanently mess up the carbonation or flavor in some way?
 
I've done it accidentally once or twice, doesn't seem to have any adverse affects although it may vary with the beverage.

Yeah, well it's only halfway frozen, and I'm drinking it now. It tastes fine, I was just wondering if it ruined the carbonation because it seemed like a lot of it went out of the bottle as soon as I opened it.
