In a rebuttal to AMD's recent claim that Battlefield 4, and other Frostbite 3 engine titles, would be exclusively optimized for their Graphics Core Next architecture, Dice's technical director has stated:

While this doesn't preclude GCN enhancements for Frostbite 3 games, it does clarify that non-GCN users won't be left out in the quest for quality and performance.

More details, including an official AMD statement can be foun on IGN.

Point here is that its not at the expense of nvidia but it doesnt stop AMD from getting an FPS boost over and above what would be normally expected.

Pure politics at its best.

Taken out of context. Read the original question.

Soo... Taken info from that IGN statement... You guys don't make any AMD - specific optimizations in the Frostbite engine, correct?

And then AMD's statement

At this time, though, our relationship with DICE and EA is exclusively focused on Battlefield 4 and its performance optimizations for AMD CPUs, GPUs and APUs," AMD representatives said.

AMD is "exclusively focused". That means they are only working on BF4 not that they bought exclusive rights for optimization.
