As usual, the article was well-written, unbiased and straightforward. Exactly what I first found here at AT more than a year ago, and it's still the same now. That's why I stay. (And why I brag on this site!) Bravo, Anand!

I was wondering about the KT333 chipset...I haven't seen too many reviews out there...I guess that's b/c comparitively speaking (to the KT266A) there really isn't much to talk about.

Nothing huge, nor unexpected. Just as I expected. Good review anyways, but I wonder why there's no mention of USB2. IIRC, one of the big features about the VIA 8233A SB was not just ATA/133 but USB2.0 support as well.But still, great review Anand

I was hoping that the V-Link bus would be upgraded, I guess we'll have to wair for the next stuff Via decides to roll out. Oh and according to Xbitlabs it doesn't have any USB 2.0, might be one reason Anand didn't mention it Nice review though still.

I might buy a board based off this chipset maybe in 3 months or so as I contemplate upgrading from my BX mobo with the PC100 RAM still.

Yup, Anand just confirmed my views.

Looks like there will be no significant performance enhancements of Socket A chipsets until AMD ups the Athlon's FSB, which is very unlikely at this point (I thought the opposite just a few months ago). The only reason to buy a Socket A board now is for features support. New stuff like USB 2.0 and ATA 133 might appeal to some, among other features....
