Frontal panel connections...

This has always bothered me...
How do you know what orientation to plug in the front panel connectors (i.e. power switch, LED etc.)? I generally just do it by trial and error. However, I know there is information on the motherboard manual about which pin is for power, but I don't know which of the two wires is for power. Is it the colored one or the white one? The connectors are labeled on one side; do the label face toward or away from each other?

White one is always the - and the colored one is the +

Usually, on the power and reset switch, it doesn't matter which wire goes where as long as they are on the right two pins. They are just N.O. switches
