Hi,
Can anyone recommend any cases that have front USB support for the Soyo K7V Dragon Plus? I am not into overclocking. I am looking for a midtower with at least 300W ps. I need three 5 1/4" and one 3 1/2" external bays, in addition to one internal for the hard drive. Thanks.

I don't know of any cases with fron USB connectors (they are out there), but Antec sells a 3 1/2" to 5 1/4" adapter cage that has 2 USB connectors built into it. Just put your floppy into the cage and mount it in a 5 1/4" slot. It costs about $12. This certainly expands your possibilities.

I am using the Antec SX840 which has 3 5 1/4" and 2 3 1/2" + 3 hd cage and a 400w PowerSupply. I have the Dragon Plus with the front USB/Reader 3 1/2" that is included with the Mobo in one and the Flopply in the other. I have not seen any cases with a separate USB already included in the case. The front USB/Reader is connected to USB 2 on the Mobo and I am using all 4 USB connectors (2 front / 2 rear)

The SX830 is the same case with a 300w P/S and cost a little less. They both have 2 rear 80mm fans included and have brackets for 2 more in the front and 1 backet for a 80mm in front of the hd cage.

Best case I have ever owned. Lots of room and good air flow which you need regardless of overclocking or not. You will not need any extra fans except the two rear that are provided if you are not going to overclock.

Thanks jhites. I looked at it, but I think i'll just settle for the Enlight 7237 because I am a college student and space is of the essence. I was unaware of the fact that the front USB ports could be connected to a 3 1/2 inches bay. Now that makes sense. Thanks again.

I just sold my custom Enlight 7237 with a 300w Antec PS and it was a good case also. I did a mod to add 120mm front fan and a 80mm blowhole with chrome grills and the case temp was always the same as the room temps. One of the best low price cases IMHO on the market.

The Antec case is about 4" taller than the 7237.

Good Mid Case and should setup well with the 3 1/2" bays. :)

A very cool product is the 5 1/4 inch kit at www.frontx.com. These are pretty cool, but the size of your case can be an issue as the cords could restrict airflow. Unique product tho.
