i have a coolermaster centurion 5 case i bought and im using a old asus a7v333 motherboard ive got laying around to put together a simple computer my mother can surf the web and such with and found out the front usb ports cable will only reach the 1.1 usb plug on the motherboard and cant reach the 2.0 plug and was wondering if there was any kind of ext. i can get to make it reach.if not i guess she'll just have to plug it in the back

1) don't expect great things from the USB 2.0 controller on an A7V333. If it's enabled, the PCI-bus performance will take an ugly hit, as I found out from experience. If that doesn't matter for your purposes, then hey 🙂

2) you can get an extension cable from here, the second one on the page there is a 2-foot-long extension cable.

EDIT: wanted to add this: that's a 1 x 5 cable, so if you want to hook up two ports, you need two of those.
