Front Side Audio + Sound Blaster Card = Confused...

i just got a new case (silverstone TJ06) that has front in and out audio ports. i plugged the pins into my MB only to find out that the front audio does not work. i figured out the problem was because im using a creative sound blaster live 5.1 and my software was set for that, and not for my on board audio. when i change my software my speakers no longer work because they are plugged into my sound card, and i don?t want to use my on board audio because it sucks.
what im trying to figure out is if you can run front audio by plugging the pins into my sound card? im sure it would work, i just don?t know where to plug the pins into. if anybody has an idea PLEASE let me know.



 
erm, hey dude, now, I don't know a whole lot about your specific problem, but my mobo came with a backet that I hooked up to enable the ability to use the front mic, and spk ports, along with the USB one and a few others, so check your mobo box and or manual. ps front hook ups are pointless if you have a 6-piece speaker system that needs atleast 3 of the audio ports in the rear of the computer
