Front panel USB internal connector question

Got a KT-436 WM case and I haven't messed with the connectors for the USB before. I see how the fit but they have this extra connector shooting off the connector coming from the front panel. It looks like an extra ground.

If I don;t plug this sucker in is that a problem? Also anyone know why its even there?

Shouldn't be a problem as some of the MoBo's have the ground pin in different places...

Make sure you follow your board's USB pinout wiring diagram correctly(some boards are wired differently) or you could fry something on the board.
