Hi, the shield between two of my USB ports on my front panel fell off. I tried to put it back but it was super lose and would come off again as soon as I plug in and out a USB device. So I bent it and then put it back in and now it's sitting there fine and it won't come off unless I plug a USB device in and drag it out super fast and continue the processes until it comes off. And when it does it doesn't come off completely, only a small bit so I can drag it out with force. My question is if this is dangerous and if I solved the problem or not? Here are some pics.

Case: Cooler Master HAF X

Came off

Put it back inside but it's not all the way in and super lose

I bent it and smacked it inside all the way and now it's sitting there pretty good (Light makes it look like it's not sitting straight but really it is)

Welcome to the forum :)

Probably will be ok as long as your careful. It's possible it could short out the mb header.

Depending on the case manufacturer you'd probably be able to get a replacement part. I know coolermaster sells parts for their cases online, not sure about others. Is the case still under warranty.

Yes it's five days left but I don't want to send my whole computer to the place I bought it from cus of this small problem if it's not super dangerous. But you said something about replacement parts so they might send a new front panel to me so I can put it inside myself?

If you contact coolermaster in time they would most likely send you one for free. Not sure about shipping cost.

This looks like what you need but currently isn't in stock it looks like.

Looks to be the whole top panel with everything installed already. I would think it'll take longer to install all the connectors than to swap the part.
