I few weeks ago, I was installing my HTPC parts in a new case. This was a lian li pc33b, a very nice looking, well constructed case. Like every other case I've ever owned, however, the front panel connectors were a tangled mess of color coded wires.
Is it really that hard to sleeve these wires? Just leave enough space at the end? Of course you can do it manually like I did but it seems like high end cases could do this for you. Has any company started doing this? I remember I saw an Antec case that basically ziptied them all together but that was a cheap hack anyway.
The second question is... when will case makers and mobo makers agree on a standard front panel connector plug? I really hate sticking in those tiny heads with my fat fingers. At the very least more mobo makers need to use something like Asus Q-connector.
