Front panel clip broke off of my cd-rw.. doh!

Is it safe to superglue the piece back in place? It's an easy fix, but are there any sorta of problems I'm not foreseeing before I do this? It's not crucial, but I'd much rather have my swanky lookin' Philips faceplace than a big thing of metal looking at me when I turn my PC on.
