I have an Enermax case and an Asus A7V600-X motherboard. I want to know how to hook up the front panel connectors.
Well, I'm just gonna throw that out there because there may or may not be someone on this site who knows this. Anyway, the ends of the cable say this:

GND
MIC VCC
MIC DATA
EAR R (two of them) (one red, one black)
EAR L (two of them) (one white, one black)

On the motherboard, the manual says I have on the front panel audio:

MC2
MCPPWR
Line out R
NC
Line out L
AGND
+5VA
BLINE OUT R
BLINE OUT L

I'm not sure right now how to match those. LOL, I'm glad it's not crucial to my system.

OK, this is just working through it without any background or research.

EAR R ===== Line out R
EAR L -===== Line our L
GND ------------ AGND
MIC VCC ------MCPPWR
MIC DATA----- MC2

This is just guess work, but seems fairly reasonable

Thanks, but I edited my message to include the fact there is one red and one black for the EAR R and one white and one black for EAR L.

BTW, do you know if it uses more amps on my power supply if that's plugged in the motherboard even if I'm not using anything in those jacks?
