Front end issue, is Firefox or Chrome the problem?

Hi, I'm completely green and new to programming, and I've been asked to test a site for blatant bugs, until I become better. Firstly I have to say that the only tech site I know of where you can get help, is Anandtech, so if anyone knows a better place to ask such questions, do let me know! 🙂

Now to my problem. Hovering over some elements in chrome gives the desired result, but doing so in Firefox gives a different effect. How do I find out what the issue is, and whether it's Chrome doing it wrong or Firefox?

I've made the video super short and straight to the point. First you see Chrome 42, then I switch to Firefox 38.

Thanks 🙂

Sorry, not seeing a difference. 😕

This feels like the CSSTricks forums might help you.

Edit: Not that I'm trying to send you away; I'm just confused to the point of not seeing the problem.

The Firefox one looks better. Chrome is adding unnecessary gray space to the end of the url pop-up for some reason and it's foreground and background colors are too similar so they're not as readable.
