Front Bezel

Sorry I don't know where else to put this topic, but does anyone know where I can find a front cd-rom bezel for sony cd-rom drives, in black? A Bezel is the "faceplate" of your cdrom drive, and most of them are beige. If anyone can help me please do
Thanks

Paint it yourself. You should be able to remove the faceplate and spray paint it, or you could leave it on and use a black paint pen to color it with.

ouch! directron is expensive! their black 3.5" fdd bezels are more expensive than 3.5" fdd themselves.

my suggestion is to paint it yourself. some 400 grit sandpaper ($.67/sheet at home depot), a can of black paint and a can clear coat ($3.69 each, also at home depot). sand the bezel with the sandpaper to give the paint something to grip. 3 layers of black paint, then 4 layers of clear coat. gideontech has a good article on how to paint your case and bezels.

I have a black case and never went through the trouble of sanding, multiple coats of paint or clear coat. On the bezels I could remove, I used semi-flat black model paint in a spray can. For the bezels I couldn't remove, I used a paint stick. It always turned out well and no one knew I did it myself. I've been using this case since '94 and have upgraded it several times through out the years.
