front audio

I don't know if this subject has been covered yet (quick search didn't reveal much) so here goes...

I have a RaidMax Scorpio with the front audio/usb thingie. My problem is, the connection method they chose to use is a regular 1/8th inch jack for the speaker output and one for the microphone input. Now, if I want to use the front audio jack with headphones, I'd have to go in the back of the computer, pull out two speaker wires (front and rear) and plug in the one that extends to the front panel. This doesn't seem like a lot of fun. I was wondering if there was a better way to do this. I have an Abit AN7, btw.

Somebody has to help me, my girlfriend doesn't like to hear games when she sleeps and I don't wanna play splinter cell silent.

The solutions: a sound card, or a new case that uses the mobo headers.
You could do a Y-cable too, if you can force it to go w/ headphones inctead of surround.
