Hey guys. So, as mentioned in title... my audio ports on front panel are dead. USB 3.0 and 2.0 on front panel work great, but audio ports are broken. I need to know what can I do to fix this. Do I have to buy complete front panel, or can I somewhere buy just audio ports and install them on my front panel?

In case you're wondering, my motherboard works fine and since I accidently broke my headphones jack while they were plugged in front panel, I know for sure that the problem lies in front panel itself.

I've never seen the audio cords separate by themselves, but you could always salvage some from an old case. There isn't much to them really, I'm surprised they just went bad on you.

I bought a silverstone model like this several years ago to get front audio ports on a Chenbro case that didn't have them. They work great, and if you don't need the 5.25 sled, all the better. It works fine, but it's unnecessarily difficult to get the screws in.

The prices have gone up at Newegg, so you may want to shop around some.

Have you taken it apart to see if it's anything obvious? I ask because I thought mine broke, and I just had to reconnect the wiring inside for the front pane audio

See if you're still covered under warranty. Fractal might sent you that component.

It's still under warranty since the case is 6 months old. It's not about the money, I'm willing to spend that extra money if they're prepared to send me just a front panel. But I was afraid that you cant buy just 1 part of the case (in this case front panel)

Actually after I "broke" headphones jack when it was plugged in audio port, I saw 1 small piece to be all wiggly and loose inside audio port, so I'm 100% sure it's broken.

You ought to email Fractal to see if you can buy a replacement part from them. I've never owned a Fractal case before, but I've gotten replacement parts from both SilverStone and In Win. They were both very helpful in getting me the parts I needed.
