So left wing journalist makes fun of assault/attempted rape of Sarah Palin's daughter. Is this just yet another example of the Democrat's war on women and culture of rape? Or just an atypical outlier by an incredibly stupid and offensive liberal reporter? If Megyn Kelly made fun of an assault on Obama's daughter, what do you think the result would be?

The whole concept of a "Democrats War on Women" is just so ridiculous as to be almost beyond belief to begin with.

You did make me laugh a bit.

What's worse, the OP's premise or the fact that he got so worked up over this that he just had to make a thread about it?

Why wouldn't you want them? Do tell.

Obnoxious, fame seeking, money grubbing, self-important, willfully ignorant, moral hypocrites like the Palins (who apparently can't hold their liquor all that well either) don't make for the kind of family or neighbors that I'd like to have.

Now, I expect you will sputter some 'witticism' regarding the 'intolerance of liberals' or some such so go ahead, get it out of your system. Don't care. You asked, it's my opinion.

Rape not found... no, really, I did a search and the word rape doesn't appear anywhere in that link.

Well the word " rape " wasn't in the article.

But ...

Standard anti-Palin snark, which was made all the more execrable given Matt Lewis’s comment in the Daily Caller that Palin “was physically, verbally — and possibly even sexually – assaulted by a man.”

Liberal Hypocrites.

Oh the Daily Caller, always a reliable source of accurate information. How could we have missed that?

the Daily Caller bought the Washington Post?

The point is that the only place reporting she was possibly sexually assaulted is the Daily Caller, not known for truthful reporting. And their report is based on the words of Bristol herself, who it would be in her own best interest to make herself look like a victim. That's not saying that it's absolutely false, but should be taken with more than a few grains of salt.

Rape accusations are meaningless when they come from the victims? Who usually reports them? The perpetrators? Bystanders? Most rapists make sure that there are no bystanders. Also, a sexual assault that was stopped is always hard to prove but that doesn't mean a victim can't make the claim truthfully. What is your point, exactly?

Heh. All up in arms over what happens & doesn't really happen when hillbillies start drinking & the stories they tell afterwards.

All because she's a Palin. What really happened was a lot of drunken stupidity, par for the course, and Righties who can't get over themselves, also par for the course.

Some interesting highlights. Seems like a great bunch of folks and a helluva party.

Bristol Palin explains to a police officer what happened:

“Some guy pushed me down on the ground and was dragging me by my feet,” Bristol Palin tells police. “They took my $300 sunglasses, they took my f**king shoes and I’m f**king just left here?”

The officer asks where she’s injured. “My f**king knees, my face, where’s my sh*t? I have a 5-year-old in the car,” she replies.

Witness describes watching Track Palin pick a fight with his father

Witness Brian Horschel tells an officer, “Track was trying to pick a fight with his own father, and that didn’t happen. ... I was sitting right there, and I said, ‘Who’s that guy?,’ because I was getting ready to stand up for Todd, cause this guy was picking a wicked fight with him."

A man replied, "That’s Palin’s kid," Horschel tells officers. “And I go, 'Oh all right, I guess it’s OK then.' "

Highly agitated homeowner

Homeowner Klingenmeyer tells police: “These Palins running up here in my property acting like they own it is not gonna fly with me. I’m the f*cking guy who owns this place. Korey f*cking Klingenmeyer. And I don’t give a f*ck if their name’s Palin, or f*cking, Obama, cause they don’t mean sh*t to me,” he says.

A concise summary of the incident

Matthew McKenna summarizes how the evening devolved into a melee: “The problem is, we’re friends, and we have a lot of other friends that aren’t friends, and sh*t got awry.”

Nope.

But, you take that and use it to bash teh liberals to your heart's content - we may not be outright wrong,.. but, you will (and have) state otherwise, of course.

Must suck for not being able to take things straight from the horses' mouth and let the stupidity speak for itself?

In other words, you'd be outraged if it happened to a fellow lib. Figured as much.

In other words, the question was never intended to be honest but rather rhetorical, since you'd already arrived at an answer suitable to your defective headset.

People turn stupid when drunk, even more so when highly opinionated & not too bright to begin with. Just another Friday night in Redneck America, only newsworthy because it involves the first family of teatard rednecks.
