From the AT archives....funny stuff.

Look through the past archives enough and you will find some awfully amusing things on this site.
Specifically related to Anand's long ago testing of the PMMX-K5 (Is that even still in the archives?!).... some amusing stuff about the old Celeron 300A bonanza. Prophecies on how he once thought the P4 + PC133 would outperform P4 + RDRAM by at least 10%.

Anand has some really bizarre stuff in his archives... and a few articles in which you can really see how much he has learned over time.
He's come a hell of a long way from the content that was once seen on his old GeoCities website.

Heh...yes, there are some very out-of-this-world predictions floating around in some of the old articles, such as the Pentium II Deschutes core being able to go all the way to 900MHz.

If anyone is interested, here's my original Test FAQ site.

Yep. You can see how much the tone of the articles have changed as well.

In the old days, the articles were as if he was telling his buddies about the newest toy he got. Now they're very professionality written.

Andy, I think that prediction included the .18 die shrink; in which case, he was only off by 100mhz.😱

Don't recall the predciction off-hand so I'm not sure went he meant.
Just wanted to say he would have been off by 200MHz... there were 1.1Ghz Copermine's on a 100MHz FSB with the cD0 stepping.
