From San Diego to Simi Valley, are the fires terrorist related?

I definitely think so, six different fires, with different starting points, up and down California, it can't just be coincident.

Why attibute it to terrorists when normal dumbfvck arsonists or people throwing cigarettes out the window is a more likely cause.

cause people are more prone to fall to mass hysteria than look calmly at a situation.

people like him are why people get trampled when crowds are near.

After 9/11 I think the word terrorist creates an image of a person with middle eastern descent, and you knew damn well that by using the word you would get the responses that you got.

In reply to your question, didn't CNN explain how one of the fires started? Someone lost in one of the forests lit a fire thing for help and it spreaded?

There was an article last summer that some of the prisoners at Guantanamo had indicated there had been plans to start wildfires in the western United States as a "cheap" and effective terrorist attack. I don't think asking this question is at all unreasonable.

Here you go . . .

i heard a rumor yesterday that some dumbass threw a lit flare out a van on hwy 18 to start the San Berdoo fire. I didn't hear anything about it on the news today.

It was all going to burn sooner or later... sucks that it's ALL going up at the same time though.

Yes, the fires are terrorist related. Everytime someone is murdered anywhere in the world, it's terrorist related. You know that bank that got robbed the other day? That was terrorist related. How about the car accident you saw on your way home from work...did you know that was caused by a terrorist as well?

Yeah, it's terrorism

Couldn't be the fact that it hasn't rained like 8 months, it's currently almost November, and it's 100 degrees out. Everything is hot and dry, gee, how could fires be starting?

That could be argued I suppose.
This is the exact problems with Americans. When I said terrorist, it doesn't mean that some turban wearing, AK toting folks that are responsible. Domestic terrorist, as well as opportunists (arsonists) can also be considered terrorists. I don't think there are many people out there that welcoming the fire, therefore, this is an act that is meant to cause fear and chaos. Some one mentioned that a lost person started this fire, I suppose that person somehow found his way out of the forests of Simi Valley, and run along all the other forests of So Cal and lit other fires for help. Stratigically, they're evenly spread out, and police are looking for two suspects that are responsible for these fires. I'm never the one that would be easily drawn into mass hysteria, but this is a very possible scenario of domestic terrorism. Don't assume that because I ask the question doesn't mean that I'm running around and spreading the rumor, I could careless who did it, but I wish I know, and that they would catch the bastards.
