I want to be able to just switch the HD to the other system but i dont know what is the registry key to delete so that it will have to recognize all new all hardware on the next boot. I am also using W2K. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You want to delete ENUM. Then boot, you may have to go to device manager and hit refresh, if it doesnt start detecting the hardware. I'm asssuming you're dual booting? That works in Win98se, not sure about win2k.
