From my high school days... UPDATED: more pics

I finally found a picture of my high school auto teacher's '79 Mustang Cobra. I did a lot of work on this for him... helped him put a new rear end in it, did TONS of body work fixing dents, welding in patch panels around the sun roof where it was rusting out, primed and painted it... made the 4 inch cowl on the hood out of fiberglass... just cut a hole in the stock hood and put a 1 inch cowl on with a 4 inch block of wood, then built up the sides with fiberglass so it's a total of 4 inchs.
Has a 429 Super Cobra Jet engine... last I heard he was running 11.00 flat in it.

I wouldn't call it slave labor... it was fun... the only reason I went to school at all in high school was cause of that class.

Hehe, yeah I know 😛 I wish my high school woulda had some shop and auto classes. Its not something that i'd wanna do permanantly, but a few extra car/tool skills woulda been nice.
