'From Dusk till Dawn' is on UPN now and I recall there being large amounts of topless women in the first bar fight scene. Does anybody know if they shot 2 versions of this scene, or were clothes digitally added later? I've seen dubbed swearing and re-filmed scenes without swearing but staging a bar fight this big twice would be a lot of trouble and I think the cgi would be kinda expensive. It just seems weird for a little slasher flick.

lots of digital editting. That movie sucked, BTW. WTF was up with the vampires, it was ok until that point.

The best edit they did was when cheech was selling his "women" :)

There were clothed women in the theatrical version. All they did was chop out the topless ones. They shoot those films so they can be edited believe it or not. I even saw pulp fiction on TV although I think they redid the entire dialog.

No doubt they shoot them to be edited. However I distinctly remember the part where they slam 4 women onto the legs of an overturned table. They have clothes on, where there were none before.

Actually having just watched that movie for the first time this weekend. All four women slamed into the table did have clothes on, at least how I remember it. ;) I tell you, they shoot the nudity so they can just choppy choppy it out and not lose big scenes. It's exactly the reason the head vampire chick didn't take her top off.

Actually the reason she didn't take her top off is because she is Selma Hayek, and so far I have never seen her do a nude scene. She is too much of a lady for that!!! :)

Yes, that was her. She didn't have any no-nudity standards for that one :D
