Hi there,
I've been lately experiencing a lot of nVidia control panel crashes... I have an ancient GF2 GTS, and the system is not playing any cutting-edge games... the occasional Quake 3 notwithstanding.
However, I'm sending a lot of video to the TV.
I was at a computer fair yesterday, and got a Gigabyte Radeon 9000 for $10. It was for a side project... but now I'm thinking about switching the cards.
I suppose there would be some improvement, considering this is a 64 MB DX 8.1 card, over the 32 MB DX 7 in the ASUS...
But how much of an improvement will I see? Does the 9000 allow me to display stuff on both TV and monitor at the same time, or switch between them with a simple hot key?
