From a TNT2 Ultra to a GeForce2 do I need to change my drivers?

If I am putting a geforce2 in my computer after already having a TNT2 Ultra, why would I have to uninstall my old drivers? I do plan to install the newest ref drivers soon after. I just think it would be an easier install.

Assuming that you're using an nVidia reference driver of recent vintage, like one from the Detonator 2 or 3 series, it should work with your new GF2 Vidcard. Personally, I found that the Det 2 v 5.22 driver worked well with my olde TNT. Providing that D3D performance was paramount, and that OpenGL performance was not needed.

if you use the tnt2 clocker program, don't forget to remove it before installing the gts2. it took me a while to figure out what the problem was
