This was even at stock speeds (333FSB). Multiple calls to Corsair did not come up with a solution. Could be a one-off problem with my P5E, but just thought you should know, since you're running the same ram and motherboard.

Could be because you haven't increased your north bridge voltage. When I went from 4 gb to 8 gb on my P35, I had exactly the same issue. I have increased the voltage from 1.3 V to 1.42 V and everything went back to normal, with my oc and everything ( I had an E7200 at 3.9 ghz back then).
When you fill all the motherboard memory slots, you add an extra stress on the NB and increasing the voltage makes it stable again.
