Just started watching Fringe as a new tv show and love it! Can't believe I missed this great show but glad I can watch it all back to back! I love doing this to tv shows.

Happy that there is at least over 20 episodes per a season too!

Does anyone know of any similar shows so I can watch them after I am finished this ?
 
It gets hokey and peters out at the end of season 3. I was hooked on this show and now I can't even be bothered to finish season 4 to find out what happens to this dude or that dude.
 
Thanks I've been looking for a new show. Just finished Justified season 3 and season 4 is not up on Amazon yet... so I got nothing

So what changed ? Why are you not hooked on the show anymore?

Same thing happen to me with Carnivale but that is because I am sad it is only 2 seasons.

The story branches off and it seems to have become some kind of run on sentence instead of getting on with the story. It feels like they're just writing to write. There are a lot of good episodes that further the main storyline, but too many bullshit stories stuck in between. The main storyline just starts wandering here and there. It killed my need to know what happens because I know what's going to happen next: fucking Lost all over again.

Scratches head? Wut? It only had 2 seasons, and it definitely didn't peter out. They just left us hanging.

I don't want to give spoilers on Fringe, just keep watching it. It does...go downhill some, but the overall story takes a left turn at some point and they attempt to tie everything in the show to this one thing and then the last season goes completely off the rails.

Another show you might check out is Torchwood. It actually starts out in a similar manner as Fringe.
 
The story issues are probably attributed to FOX who was considering cancelling the show after season 2 or 3 I believe. Then eventually they were given a final season and had to kind of go in a direction that could be wrapped up quick. At least that's what I think, still was a good show.

Finish the damn show before making such an extreme conclusion. I'll admit that it was treading water during the 3rd season but they figured out what was going to happen and delivered an amazing ending. Lost blew it.
 
I've sorta been meaning to check out the show... I guess I'll have to start it at some point and see how I feel about it.

I'm not sure if I like her.. the worst I could say is for such a well cast show, she is the worst. But she is also the lead.

And the guy fro Boston Legal.. not a fan. Looks too much like an action figure to be a believable character

😱 I'm in the same boat. I was hooked and now I haven't watched for a while ever since the whole peter thing.
