I've noticed lately that in some of the more recent episodes Walter and the Massive Dynamic lady smoke pot... :)

Broyles stole that whole trip after Peter told him he was bald.

Didnt care for the cartoon characters. More creepy than realistic but a great idea. Remember "Heavy Metal"?

They went animated because they wanted to use Nimoy again, but he didn't want to act. So they got him to agree to voiceover work and came up with with a way to make it work. I thought it was pretty cool, I really liked this episode.

Yes, I loved how they used Broyles in this episode.

I thought the cartoon characters were an interesting touch. It's the type of thing that this show does well.

I kept expecting to hear Shatner singing, "MacArthur park is melting..."

btw did you catch Nimoy saying, "Aye, Aye, Captain..."

Aye, aye, I did.

I knew Nimoy didnt want to act/appear anymore so a good compromise with just the voice over. I was wondering how they were going to do it.

I didnt have a problem with it being animated, just the rendering of the characters.

so i haven't watched this show since about january of 2010 (per an episode guide i think i stopped watching when there were flesh eating creatures inside people or something). i watched a few eps on hulu over the weekend and i know i'm missing some important stuff.

i know dude stole peter from the other universe as that was pretty well alluded to during the second season, and i know olivia got stuck in the other universe for a while, but other than that i'm fairly well lost. did little kid olivia from the normal universe leave and stay in bizarro universe for a while?

No Olivia was never in the alternate universe as a kid

Yes she was, Olivia is from the original (our) universe with the power to jump to the other universe, and as a kid she was inadvertently crossing over with her power, and its how Walternate figured out there was another universe because she unwittingly crossed over and mistook Walternate for Walter.

Ok true my bad, she spent no significant amount of time over there other than the incident with walter and walternate.
