frigid cold, or blistering heat, which would you rather have?? POLL!!!

Oh, your extremes are a bit lopsided. -40f is alot colder than 110F is hot. A better comparions would be -20f and 110f.

i hate extreme heat.

when it's extremely hot, and you cool down.....you still feel gross and sticky.

when it's extremely cold and you warm up.....it feels goooood 😀

I'd rather lay around in my underwear and sweat rather than have to be bundled up in 8 layers of clothes.....gimme the heat!

for survival, def'ly -40F. I was wearing a shirt and pants outside, and right now its -18F windchill. with a jacket, gloves, and earmuffs, I could stand -40F easy.

When it's that cold you can't even go outside without getting immediate frostbite. But you can have shade with an umbrella. Normally I'd choose cold but that's way too cold.

for peopel who live in Mass, (specifically Boston), it is -2 right now, but the wond chill makes it feel like -28. I think i could use a little heat right now......

Dry S/W heat any day. We might go to Death Valley this Saturday.😀

I just wear loose fitting 100% cotton clothing and let the sweat do it cooling job.
Long pants and long sleeve t-shirt. A tank top and shorts may look cool, but its not
cooler. One more, a wide brim well vented hat, the goofier looking the better.
Note: No beer or soda, only water or clear juices, all I can drink..
🙂

Agreed.
There are plenty of places in the U.S. where it is routinely 110 all summer long.
But I know of none that normally get to -40.

I'd rather have 110 than -40.

But If you compared temps that are really dangerous to people, you'd have to say something like:
130F vs -40F

EDIT: And what's the humidity?
I can handle 110 in Phoenix without much problem, but 95 in New Orleans in May was like being in hell.
