Why does Fox always show Jeter's parents in the stands during the playoffs at Yankee Stadium? Why don't they also show Mussina's or Enrique Wilson's parents?

Why can't Red Sox mind their own team instead of having to show their obvious penis envy of the Yankees?

Because Jeter has a white mother and a black father so it makes a good shot/good story.

Why does it matter? Do you really want to see Mussina's parents? Or did you just feel like bitching?

Also because Jeter's parents are very media-savvy, and because they go to a lot of games, if not all of them. They appear in the press often enough to assume that they like it. The press likes people who cooperate.

Mussina is the quiet type, doesn't like the media attention; it probably extends to his parents, too. I doubt that he would want them to court publicity.

Enrique Wilson is from the Dominican Republic, so his parents probably have a hard time coming to a lot of games. And knowing fox, they'd probably make some cracks about Wilson's paternity-suit problems.
