63 and clear here in Seattle. we have scored killer weather for over a week now with no end in sight.
 
I miss the snow, i've been here at Guam AFB for the past year and a half and have been home once, during this last xmas to Nebraska. while i was home we got about 9in in 2-3 days. was a lot of fun. got pics with my 5month old(4m at the time) in the snow.
 
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM THURSDAY TO 1 AM EST FRIDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON DC HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY. A STORM MOVING UP FROM THE GULF COAST ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST UNITED STATES WILL SPREAD SNOW OVER OUR REGION THURSDAY AND THURSDAY EVENING. SOME LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE AFTER MIDNIGHT. HOWEVER...THE MAIN ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL LIKELY BEGIN WITH IN A COUPLE OF HOURS OF SUNRISE. SNOW WILL CONTINUE DURING THE DAY. IT MAY MIX WITH SLEET AT TIMES ACROSS CENTRAL VIRGINIA AND SOUTHERN MARYLAND DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. PRECIPITATION WILL COME TO AN END DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON IN WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA...THEN WILL END DURING THE EVENING FOR THE REST OF THE REGION. AT THIS POINT...TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE THREE TO FIVE INCHES. EXACT AMOUNTS WILL DEPEND ON THE TRACK OF THE STORM WHICH WILL DETERMINE HOW MUCH SLEET MIXES IN TO HOLD DOWN ACCUMULATIONS... AND HOW MUCH PRECIPITATION IN GENERAL MOVES THIS FAR NORTH WITH THE STORM. STAY TUNED FOR THE EARLY MORNING UPDATE OF THE FORECAST TO TRACK THE PROGRESS OF THIS STORM AND ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO FORECAST SNOW TOTALS.
