I got jealous of sandy bridge and just ordered a Asus p67 motherboard and i5 2500k when I had no intentions to.

I'll be honest this will be my first intel desktop since a pentium 166. I've owned almost every generation of amd cpu's.

I just sold my 1090t 6950 Xfire setup to get a i7 laptop.

I hope to hit 4.4 on my 2500k.

What ate the max temps on these?

max temps are mid 60's with a good cooler, make sure you dont hit above 1.35V on the cpu tho.

I'm at a max of 59C load (in Linpack) @ 4.2 GHz and stock voltages. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus.

In Prime95 the load temps are bit lower, about 57-58.

Max temp for 2500K? Meh keep it under 90C
