...do you know who your true friends are?

I found this out the hard way. But I now have my friends sorted out. :)

Here's how I found out...

Ok, one friend, I took him to get his license, I let him use my car for it. He passes, everything is kewl. A week later, I had to drive my g/f's car and he was there, so I told him to drop mine home, he said alright. He crashed it. I didnt' get mad. I accepted the fact that he fvcked up and he was sorry. So all's kewl, then all of a sudden he starts to act like a dick. At first I didn't mind, cus he was my friend and sometimes friends change, but then it gets worse and worse. Now it's like a few months after he crashed my car. He's at my house chilling, and I'm outside installing a stereo. My dad's outside too, he's the one that fixed my car when my friend crashed it. Now my friend is talking story with my dad, and I hear him go, "you did a sh*tty job on the car. The battery died a couple weeks after me and my friend were installing sounds. You gave me a junk battery. Also I know for a fact that you didn't fix the car good, I checked it out and it's done fast and sh*tty." Now I'm inside a car and I was thinking, oh sh*t my dad's gonna kill him. But my dad shrugs it off and walks in the house.

Now I know for a fact that the battery in the car was brand new and the reason it died was that the guy that installed the stereo for him wired it wrong and it killed it. And I know for a fact that the car was fixed right. My dad and his friend (who a mechanic) did all the work, and it came out great. Also my friend doesn't know jack about cars. He left the car in drive with the hand brake up, turned off the engine, then tried to start it, and said "fvcking car's broken, it won't start". Now here's the funny part. Now a month later he's been acting a little less jerky. He calls me up and asks if I can hook him up with a cell phone. I tell him I can pull a few strings and get him one for cheap. He says ok. Now it's the day we're sposed to pick up the phone. He gets to my house, in his car with no one else with him. I go to get ready so he stays upstairs with my parents. When I come back up and tell him we go, he says "how bout you drive your own car and follow me, then when I get the phone, you can just go home." I look at him and go, are you fvcking serious? He goes yah, it's a good idea, let's go. I tell him fvck you and I leave my house and go to my girlfriends house. I've never talked to him since because I don't need asshole people like that who don't give a fvck about anyone but themselves.

Today he calls me up and goes "want to go hang out or something, no one else wants to go out with me...call me up, aight." I laugh and erase the voicemail, then I call my friend and tell him what happened, we both laugh. Funny sh*t, how he thinks he can jerk people around, and expect them to be nice to him when he wants. He's got a lot to learn.

And to think, he was a part of our group of friends (but now no one likes him, I wonder why)...

So anyone else got any stories?

I dont have a story that brutal, but yes I know who my true freinds are. They are the one who are more interested in other people having a good time around them, then just sitting back and enjoying themselves to the dissapointment of everyone else.

I dont think that made much sense, it did when I was thinking it:p

Ok, it makes kinda little sense, but I get it...

I got another one...

I go to a friends house, his computer is a P166. Now he was a good friend of mine, and I asked if he wanted a new comp. He said yes. I took into consideration that he could buy my old one and I could make a new one. I told him the price, he agreed, and told me he'd pay me in full at the end of the month. He gives me $200.00 that day in cash, and tells me he'll pay me back at the end of the month. I know he's good for it because he has no bills and makes almost $1000.00 a month. So at this point I'm not worried. Now a week passess and he's like "I might take like a extra month to pay you back, but I'll pay you every month". This I'm also cool with, knowing that friend would never screw me over. Now it passess a month, and I still have nothing but the initial $200.00. And everytime I IM him or ask him, his response is "hold up". So now I sit here, out of $400.00, without a computer, and no set date on when I'll get my money. If he doesn't pay by January, I'm going over there, taking the computer, not giving him a refund and telling him that the money he gave me turned into a rental fee, because in the real world, you can't pay as you feel.

Lesson learned, no matter how good a friend it is, tell them to go to CompUsa and buy one there. :)

They're not friends anymore. I've ostracized them from anything I plan or do with my "real" friends. :)

I mean I may act like a dick at times, but I make up for it and realize what I did wrong. None of aforementioned realize that they have no manners. :(

I now know who my true friends are. :)

I have some really good friends and some pretty nasty ones. I do not know how come all this time I never realised it until recently.

Here's one:

I have this girl friend who likes to use people. Whenever she's phoning me or emailing me, its always with a motive behind. Like there was one time, I was feeling all miserable and lonely because of some school stuff. Anyway, that 'friend' called me and asked me if I wanted to play tennis. As naive as I can be sometimes, I was happy that at least she was thinking of me. God, she called me over just so that she could have an extra tennis racket for her bf. I was pissed. There were other couple of times also where she tried to trick me into doing things, always to HER advantage. Is that what friendship is about? I mean, apart from doing things in her favour, she never really spends time for the sake of friendship. Pfft. Nowadays I try to avoid doing things with her. I think its not a healthy social life to get leeches around me.

Ok, time for so Chinese Fortune Cookie advise. Came from an actuall cookie.

The best way to keep friends is to never lend or borrow anything.

This works very well for me. ;)

This is pretty funny but pretty much unrelated... some kid leaned a small trashcan up against this kid's door that no one likes. But the thing is they filled it with water so last night he opens it and all i hear from my bed is some loud crashes and the door slamming, bwhahaha.
