And are you sure they said GB and not MB? When 12 MB of RAM was common, GB hard drives were NOT.

Is there anything else you're trying to point out other than that they said 28,000 and not 28,800?

My mistake. I always screw up the bps/Bps/kbps/kBps/whatever/whatever up. I'm certain he said GB's.

Well then that's strange.

They were probably trying not to sound redundant by using MB twice... people expected a lot less accuracy regarding computers from TV and movies back then.

Or they could have just been dumb.
