Friends setting you up?

From what I understand, female friends sometimes really good about setting their guy friends up with their girl friends when asked. So how come none of my female friends do that for me? I've asked a couple of times, but they all just drag their feet. Is this some sort of conspiracy to keep me single? :Q They are otherwise terrific to me, some of them cook meals for me when I visit and stay over

hahaha, I see what you mean, but I have sh*t for luck on my own. I mean if I can extend my social circle just by asking people I know, I don't see why not.

Ok but seriously, I feel like they love me unconditionally so I don't think thats it.

The more I think about it, it's really a minor complaint. Maybe none of them are into it and they are otherwise great to me. I remember this one time I was b*tching to one of them that I couldn't find an apartment in Berkeley and she went out and found about a half dozen places for me :Q A real feat for the area.
