got an AMD mobo, a duron 750....to use as a fileserver😀 since I have no many drives and my antec 400W can't handle them....

Funny....he owed me more if we were to sum up the value of stuff I've given him...but I didn't even expect this....I gave the stuff to him as a gift😀

$100+ scsi card, scsi drives, wireless stuff, computers etc😀

I find it incredibly strange that I have to read the manual to setup the case correctly...so many bays..and holes..and plastic thingys😱

Problem is that thedrives are full and are NTFS.....Will have to see if Partition magic can pull off a conversion to Ext3 at least.

I was thinking gentooo + samba.....something brutally and disgracefully simple.

If I get lazy it'll probably be windows 2k or naslite
 
how is the p180? that is a very nice case, nice and quiet if you set it up right. altho definitely complicated to put together, from what I have read.

yeah but wholey crap is it solid.

my old antec 1030 looks like crap now.

Seriously, assuming that I had a quieter fan for the fan bay, everything, harddrives, cpu, video card...everything, would have air flowing or pulling and it is still incredibly quiet. For now my own addin fan is too loud so I just shut it off....still have three 80s(or are they 120s?) running on low + CPU fan on low+ video card fan on low...If it wern't for the bearings on my WD, this thing would be absoltuely silent.

Hell, I can hear myself type quite loudly 😀

Basically, it kicks ass.....
