It's in woodbridge, VA. For those that know the area.

This happened in the middle of the night. In the morning all the cars were gone and the parking spaces were spray painted.

This is a huge neighborhood. I'm estimating around 300-400 townhouses and there are condos down the street but I don't know if they have anything to do with them.

The neighbors are planning a class action lawsuit.

still have not answered if they were in driveways or what.

nto to mention i did not think they can just take the car and spray paint an area as no parking. and did they really tow the car's for being late or for illiagal parking?

Its not driveways. The townhouses have no garages or driveways.

That's how he found out a lot of cars were also towed because he looked around and other people had no parking spray painted on their spots as well.

If it were true, it would be worth them doing it just to catch them in the act. I would LOVE to use the smith and wesson security system in a situation like that.

To those thinking im BSn..

Maybe I should take pictures of all the driveways that have no parking painted on their spots.

Hell I'll even give you all the name of the neighborhood and you call call the HOA and confirm.

But of course that would ruin all your fun of being little immature brats. Suggesting my life is a lie makes me feel like royalty. thank you :) I am the king.

How can the HOA force you to do anything? Do you have to agree to abide by their rules as a condition of purchasing the property?

You have to agree to abide by their rules and you have to sign something I believe.

I have no idea what happens if you do not agree to abide by their rules.

What if you have a garage and a driveway leading up to it which is private property? I believe those houses are also part of the HOA, no?

huh? HOAs consist of communities where they are regular houses with garages & driveways. No difference, you abide by their rules.

I used to live in Woodbridge (Dale City) and it did happen to me

My HOA was worthless ans I kept on them about cleaning up broken glass etc, but they did nothing. But let me fall behind 1 month on the HOA payment, and poof...car is gone.
Cost me $90 and I still had to pay those bastards. They did finally start cleaning up the neighborhood though,

Oh and btw, this thread is shens from the start because we all know aimster doesn't have any friends.

First off, you don't have to sign anything. you are bound to the rules of HOAs in most states as they become extensions of state law. Yup. This is how they are able to enforce them with liens and such.

Buying a home in a neighborhood with an HOA and not getting a copy of the rules is not a legal excuse for not paying or following the rules. If you have that problem you have to take it up with your realtor who is responsible for making known the fact than an HOA is present and your liable to it.
