For you experienced builders out there...any basics that I missed??? I've been looking at all of this stuff...

Btw, is there anything he should know about hte stepping on the CPU? And i'm pretty sure 450W is enough but a second opinion would be nice. He is also intending to overclock the processor so keep that in mind. Thanks in advance

I would really question the quality of that power supply. A good quality 450W power supply costs more than that case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103929 Some healthy advice: don't skimp on your power supply or you my well regret it later. Also, research the cooling and air flow of a case. Personally, I like the Cooler Master Centurion 5 as a good quality budget case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119068 If you need a side window, Cooler Master does manufacture them for this case as well: http://www.coolermaster.com/index.php?L...serial=RP-53W&other_title=RP-53WRP-53W
