Friend's Computer Reboots During Source Games

It's really random and only happens during gaming. We tried lowering the resolution, disconnecting unnecessary fans (lighten load), putting more fans, cleaning cpu heat sink, reinstalling video drivers, setting bios to default, switching up network cards (read that his causes crashing) and the same symptoms still come up. Any help?

Oh yeah, we have a fortron 400w psu also which is new. The rig plays battlefield 2 fine.

if it happens only in Source, then i think the installation is broken.

Yeah it's weird, because he folds fine too.

What motherboard is he using? Me and my roomate both had similar issues, using the 975x chipset onboard audio..

edit: p.s. it usualy helps if you list the computer specs so we can have some idea of where to start..
