Friend will have eye surgery

My friend is having some sort of eye procedure sometime in November. You see, he has a "droopy eye" and he hates it. You can tell he feels self-conscious when you're talking to him, because he always looks down at the ground. He has a hard time looking people in the eye. He's a good guy, but this procedure must cost a lot of money (I don't know how much). Seeing as how most people here detest breast implants (or other surgical methods) to make oneself look better, what do you think of this procedure? I say, if it makes him feel that much better, then go for it.

If it's anything like Stuart Scott's eye (ESPN sportscenter) then by all means go for it. That eye of his is freaky to look at.

Had the same procedure (though it has no doubt changed a great deal since) performed twenty five years ago. At the time, they simply cut the appropriate inner eye muscles. Not certain if the procedure has changed since, but no one would ever know I had the surgery performed if I did not mention it.
