Check it out you can also view his other 4 pics (more to come)

I assume some are water front to back, water side to side, warm air, but what the heck do you need a digital display for? Can anyone translate the buttons?

Here is a direct link in case more get uploaded and coppermine moves around the position of the pic, i REALLY want a translation!

Lol, one of the controls is for washing the behind (presumably after number two) and one for the ladies only (after number one or?) ;)

Okay...let's see now.

Left Pink button: STOP
Button with the butt icon - precisely that - butt
Next to that: Bidet
Under those buttons: 'move', seems to be intended to move either the butt spray or the bidet function.
Directly under that "massage" button, with naturally, an on/off switch.
The button scheme at the very right appears to control the nozzle positioning (controls on right) and the strength at which the water is sprayed (controls on the left).

Japanese toilets have more functionality than any other equivalent in the world. They rock.

All this reminds me of an old joke with an automatic tampon remover button on such a toilet and a curious guy.

Your bowel movements were all within established safety parameters. Have a wonderful day. :)

When I lived in Japan my place had a bidet and I found out the hard way how to use it.

It was simpler than Joemonkeys and had a dial and a blue and pink button.

I was staring at it and pushed the pink button and that sucker just nailed me in the face and moved back and forth. Moving aside, I pushed the blue one and it squirted but stayed stationary.

Think about it. ;)

I think that is a Toto toilet - they make some crazy designs. I saw the American versions at the 2004 International Builders Show in Vegas this year - pretty sweet. I still like my plain one with paper though.

Duh, I didn't see the brand name on the bottom until I looked again... Oh well, I was right, and my point still stands. :)
