so there. although i'd just sell the car instead of trading it in.
didnt find my post on roadfly ... but heres the shortened version:
neighbor's brand new mazda 3 stuck on snow at subdivision's exit
I drive ... he is trying to scrape snow around the tires ...
sees me coming ... waves his arms .. stops me .. says i wont make it ...
i drive without any incident ...
my insurance for 2001 Z3 is $690/yr in KC .. 30 yr old wife is 29 (2 speeding tickets in the last 10 months) ... practical is very subjective ... the ragtop wont go bad, the el cheapo plastic window will (still cannot believe bmw did this) ... as far as expensive to fix ... only if u take to the dealer ... otherwise it has been problem free for many ... read roadfly z3 boards ... brings a smile everytime ... even with a 8 month old ... i am keeping it ... stops better than any mazda ... gives 25+ mpg in city the (2.5) ... routine maintenance very easy to do ... besides the glovebox rattle ... its very built for a car made by americans ...
