Friend wants to get a computer, how about this one?

That's the maximum money he wants to spend on a machine and he wants something that is kinda "future-orientated". I know, it's difficult with computers but anyway. This machine has everything he needs. For Dollar price, you need to divide the price(1499 CHF) by 1.3.

You guys think he will be happy with that machine? He wants to play some games, not too hardcore, but he wants to get into PC gaming again.

Only weak point is the 9600 instead of a 9600 pro or XT, but that can be replaced later. I'd also be annoyed at getting 2 x 256 instead of 1 x 512 RAM since A64 isn't dual-channel.

I would buy the ABS Awesome 4300 instead since it's from a very well known company, has better hardware and is cheaper. You can do what you want and that computer is good but if it was me I would get it from ABS.

That system looks fine, like mentioned before, the only weak spots are using two sticks of RAM and the regular 9600.
