Well a friend of mine is trying to build a custom sound system in his ceiling, while attempting to keep the speakers close to unnoticeable. That's the plan, but it's besides the point. He asked me to help him find out some retailers for speakers, but I'm not sure where to look. What he needs are bare speakers (without wooden boxes). Pretty much like car audio speakers. However, he has sent me with some really specific details for the project.
Individual speaker specifications
-Must fit inside a 5X5 square.
-Power: Somewhere around 2 to 20w
-Frequency: 500Hz to 15 Khz
-Coil: 8-preferred, possibly 4 if the rest of the materials are good
I'm not asking you to do my work, but any help would be greatly appreciated. I just really need to find a speaker retailer that is rather specific with their products.
