Friend wants those Wal*Mart spinners on his Civic...

I told him all I could and he wouldn't listen.... he has 14's and wants to buy the hubcap spinners at wal mart to put on his civic... i can't help but feel sorry for the kid for putting spinners on a civic PERIOD

For those who don't know, it's like $30 or $40 for the entire set, and these are the worst spinners available, not to mention they'd be going on a civic with 14" tires.

Oh, this kid is damn serious too. He also wants bass shakers on his Civic. Someone, please, help this kid...
 
Oh man, please show him this thread after everyone trashes his idea... hubcap spinners are the tackiest and most ridiculous looking thing ever. Please man, put your money elsewhere or just save it for now, plastic spinners are nothing but a joke and I'm sure you'll get more laughs than props.
 
YA! You're friends awesome! Tell him he will get all the chicks with thoes $30 Spinners on his car.

Oh absolutely! I'm carrying my camera to school now so I can get a shot of these sometime. Did I mention he "street races" too? This is perfect video material, I'll get him to go up against some other similar car and listen for his excuses...

you can help him...after he parks his car for the night, show up in a white van under the guise of a guy selling speakers that your boss told you to dump off, then get a tire iron, and proceed to destroy his car with said tire iron. do this because anyone who drives with spinner hubs is subject to ridicule and doesnt deserve a vehicle.

btw, cant you tell i hate those things and they look very, very tacky.
 
Tacky is right. On the bright side, I get a good laugh everytime I see a car with these. Usually its on a beater. Is your friend's Civic a beater?
