Friend wants a new card to run oblivion

price is his biggest concern :(

his Pc as far as i know
(1.5GB RAM|3.0 P4 HT 350 watt PSU)
PCI-E
his current card is a x300

he says hes fine if it only runs on medium or so
which of these 2 cards would be better
7600GS $65
HIS x1650 51$
or is this worth all the extra cash?
EVGA 79--GS 105$

open to other suggestions/websites

This would probably blow his socks off coming from that video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814127295 Note that it is overclocked and has GDDR3, as opposed to the previously linked Biostar 8600GT which has GDDR2. A reviewer in the comments is thrilled with Oblivion performance, and it is $89. The MSI card you linked to is obviously going to be good, and has GDDR3, as well, and is overclocked. The Biostar is not a good choice with Gddr2 over the 8500GT with GDDR3 IMHO.

I think that the 7900GS is possibly the best bang for buck GPU @ ~$100.

(That is of course if DX10 isn't a necessity).
