WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- A missing Kansas college student believed to be the victim of foul play led a double life as an Internet porn star by the name of Zoey Zane, a friend told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

A young woman resembling 18-year-old Emily Sander appears nude in photos posted on a Zoey Zane Web site.

"She enjoyed it. She is a young teenage girl and she wanted to be in the movies and enjoyed movies. She needed the extra money," said Nikki Watson, a close friend of Sander's at Butler County Community College. "Nobody in El Dorado knew besides her close friends."

Police in El Dorado, where Sander was last seen on Friday, said they are aware of the Web site. But police investigator Chad Young would not confirm whether Sander is Zoey Zane and would not say whether the site was connected in any way to her disappearance.

Sander was last seen leaving a bar in El Dorado, about 30 miles from Wichita, with a man identified by police as Israel Mireles,
24, authorities said. Sander and Mireles met that night at the bar, according to Watson.

Joe Terziu, owner of Bella Casa Italian Restaurant, where Mireles worked, told The Wichita Eagle that he saw blood on a bed
and carpet in the motel room where Mireles had been staying. Police have not confirmed the account.

A nationwide manhunt was under way for Mireles and his 16-year-old girlfriend. A rental car he had been driving turned up Tuesday in Texas.

Sanders recently signed a contract for the pornographic work on the Web site, and told her parents about it on Thanksgiving, Watson said. Her boyfriend broke up with her because he did not approve, Watson said.

On the Web site, she appears in various states of undress in a cowgirl costume and a jungle-print bikini.

Actually I doubt many of them would care. How many guys JO to playboys from the 50s & 60s? Several of those women are probably dead and if not certainly don't look like they used to!

And the pornstar tag doesnt apply to her. She wasn't a "star"

They use that word to describe anyone in porn. Porn actress should be the proper terminology. Porn actresses are a dime a dozen. Porn stars are very few in number. And if she was just in silly photo shoots thats nude modeling.

This is really too bad but you can only imagine how many hundreds of cases like this are not in the news for whatever reason. Hopefully she turns up, but with her alleged career aspirations, her projected lifespan is probably a fraction of what it would normally be anyway. There is just so much money in the pron industry and so many young women that end up in it... most of them are pretty naive about the seediness and danger of the whole thing until it is too late.

Care to back that up? Aside from strange sexual deviants do you have any concrete material to substantiate these claims because I am calling shens.

You are coming across that people in the adult industry are in danger of something. This isn't the case.

Now plenty of girls leave bars with guys and disappear with or without being in the adult entertainment industry.

But to answer you, She left with a shady mexican I don't see the relevance here to her nude modeling website.

Actually, from what it sounds like, her porn career had nothing to do with her demise. And I agree with iceberg and call shens on the above statement.
