Hello, I have been a long time reader of anandtech but I never really had a reason to post on the forums.
I will get straight to the point. I need to build a computer for a friend of mine who produces music. Like background music for songs (mainly gospel). I need to build a pc for relatively cheap.
From what I understand it still needs to be windows XP.
Is there any specific hardware besides the sound card (obviously) that I would need to make sure everything is compatible with the software.
Has anyone built a computer for using protools on windows before and can give me and tips.
I've been plenty of PCs but not for sound editing. Any help will really be appreciated..
