I just finished an IM with a cousin who is a grad student at WVU. She hasn't heard anything about this. For something like this, news travels very fast around a campus.

She is asking around though...

<< The ex-boyfriend was actually transferred to the ICU on Wednesday night (I'm not sure if he was out of the coma, but I didn't think he'd be moved to ICU if he wasn't), but his liver started failing again Thursday morning so he's back on life-support. I'm not sure what his chances are now, but Amanda's going to have far fewer problems from him in the future if he doesn't pull through, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe he could win himself a Darwin award... >>

Whoa I'm surprised the ex is still alive. That's 2 weeks after what you previously projected (you said by the end of the week on Mar 18). I'm with you in hoping he wins a Darwin award too.

I'm glad that Amanda got herself a better lawyer than that first moron. Best wishes to her and her case.
