friend has problem with camolet

a friend of mine put camolet on his system and locks up rigth away after putting in a new viedo card all i know
about the card is that it's a nvidia card tnt2 with 32 meg
all i know about the system is the os is windows me, intel cpu at 600 mhz mem is 128 and cable modem
according to the makers of camolet the system should run
any ideas on how to check to see if it is the video card or something else
