Friend has Amd 6300 Mobo recommendation?

Friend of mine has an Amd 6300. He's trying to run an ATI R290 and the current board he has does not support it for some reason.

What is a replacement board that is $50-65 that will allow him to use his AMD 6300 and the ATI R290 card without any issues?

I suggest posting in Computer Help, to diagnose why the video card doesn't work in your friend's current board. As long as it has a PCI-E x16 slot (and all AM3+ boards do), then it should work. If it's not, then swapping boards may not help him out, unless it just happens that the current board's PCI-E slot has burnt out.
